One of the first things people ask when they want to see a home is, “What do I need?” The most important thing buyers need to get is pre-approval. This means you’ve talked to someone about getting a mortgage and gone through the application process. It’s important to have a pre-approval letter ready to go in case you want to make an offer.
After you request a showing online, we schedule it. Definitely make sure you are on time! You are looking at someone’s home, so we need to be respectful of their time.
Many people want to bring their whole entourage with them to see a home. However, you should really only bring the people who will be living with you in the new home for the showing. If you bring kids to a showing, keep an eye on them. You don’t want them running wild in somebody else’s home.
Showings usually last between 15 and 30 minutes per home. This gives you time to fully look at the property. This time frame keeps us on schedule so we don’t linger too long.
If you really like the property, you can have a second showing. You can bring family or friends or an advisor with you once you’re under contract for the new home.
To request a showing on our new website, register at MileHighHomeGuide.com. Then you can save favorite properties and request showings. We will get back to you quickly and get you out on the market as soon as possible.
